Year Round Staff Positions

-Head Cook

We are currently looking for a person to fill this position. The successful applicant will have experience in a commercial or camp kitchen and work well with other staff and volunteers. The successful applicant will live on-site with a modest stipend, room and board included. They would be responsible for planning and implementing the hospitality program for 10 weeks of the summer camping season as well as the off-season rental program. -Head of Maintenance

We are looking for a person to fill this year-round position starting in May 2010. We are looking for a hard working dedicated individual who works well with volunteers and has knowledge of general maintenance and housekeeping. The successful applicant will work typical 8 hour days during the off season and 8-10 hour days during the busy summer season. The position includes a modest stipend as well as room and board. -Office Manager/Registrar

We are looking for a person to fill this year-round position immediately. The successful applicant must have a good knowledge of office administration and book-keeping as well as coordinating with volunteers, staff, etc. The position is 30 hours per week with the understanding that more time may be required during the busiest season. Seasonal Staff Positions

-Lifeguard

We are looking for a head lifeguard for the 10 weeks of summer. The successful applicant will have NLS or equivalent and current First Aid and CPR. They will be responsible for all aspects of the waterfront program. We typically run 2 hours of swimming per day in the River and the remainder of the day may be spent at other water sport areas.

-Skill Staff

We are looking for 9 individuals to fill our skill leader positions. These positions are all instructor positions and may also require minor maintenance and repairs for those particular skill areas. Those skills are canoeing/kayaking, water-skiing/wakeboarding (boat driver license required), archery, hiking, arts and crafts, mountain biking, skateboarding, field sports and basketball, rock climbing

Each of these instructor positions may require certificates or licenses and are for 10 during the summer and they include a modest stipend as well as the ability to raise additional support.

Volunteer Positions

-Cabin Leaders

We have 2 weeks this coming summer, July 18 and July 25 that we will require both male and female cabin workers for ages 7-11 and 12-15.
